The Monmouth County Sheriff's Office-Communications Division is located in Freehold, NJ. Our center employs 70 Full time staff members and answers 9-1-1 calls for 45 local jurisdictions and 2 military facilities within Monmouth County. Our state of the art dispatch center featuring 12 dispatch consoles dispatches, 8 full time Police Departments which includes the Sheriff's Officers, 30 Fire Departments, and 22 First Aid Squads. The county also provides back up for 14 agencies.

In 2007, our agency answered 348,043 calls in which 168,784 were 9-1-1 calls for help. All of our staff is trained as Emergency Medical Dispatchers, Emergency Communication officers, and NCIC terminal operators.

The Communications Division utilizes Zetron Phone and Radio touch screen consoles at all 12 positions.
