Child Safety Seat Checkpoint

Events

On Tuesday, 01/11/2011, between 3:30pm and 6:30pm,a child safety seat checkpoint will be set up to inspect child safety seats. Trained safety seat technicians will be on site to determine the safety of your child's seat. This event will take place at the MonmouthCounty Garage located at 240 Center Street in Freehold, NJ. and is open to the general public.

NO APPOINTMENT IS NECESSARY.

American Medicine Chest Challenge (AMCC)

If residents of Monmouth County haven't cleaned out their medicine cabinets lately now might be a good time. The Monmouth County Sheriff's Office is coordinating the American Medicine Chest Challenge (AMCC) in Monmouth County, which is a national event that raises awareness of prescription drug abuse. The event will be held on November 13th when residents will have the opportunity to dispose of unwanted and expired drugs properly.

The drop off location in Monmouth County will be held at the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office, 50 East Main Street, Freehold, between 10AM-2PM on November 13th. The program is anonymous and no questions will be asked of the participants.
